I had a vist from a friend that served with me in the early days of Combat Control. I have had a lot of people tell me that I should write a book about my military life that started in the Navy during WWII, moved to the Army in 1950 and on to the Air Force and Combat Controll in 1953.
No, I am not a big Combat Hero. After this vist with this friend I realized that I had a lot moreeffect on the out come of history but I never through any body would be better off if they heard my side of the story, so I resolved to tell it. But, I still work full time in my accounting office and when you are up to your ass in aligators it is hard to remember that your initial object was to drain the swamp. You will hear more from me I see thare is a verification code I am supposed to copy to verify that I am me. Do you suppose no one else can copy this code but me.

Yes Clint, tiz indeed “our” Glen. Glen had the unfortunate luck to be the commander when a few young sergeants went astray and the sh~t hit the fan. If you want to get away with that kind of crap you need a job in the White House. As for Glen, I recall he came to CCT back in ~77 and a nicer more caring and harder working troupe you could ever meet. He was a MSgt when he was commissioned and I was amazed he made it to 06 as I know it is really challenging the odds despite the hard work and deserving effort. My take on the matter despite not having any real inside knowledge is that it was easier for the Wing Cmdr to drop Glen in hope of preserving his own chances of another star than saving him. Some how I doubt it will be enough. For Glen I despite this I have nothing but the highest respect and hope he doesn't let this drag him down. Sometimes you have to take one for the team. I'll buy Glen a drink anytime anywhere and be proud to call him a friend. It was a damn good 35 years!
